I have been a massage therapist for 16 years.  I studied at The Soma Institute in Chicago. The curriculum focused more on clinical massage therapy benefiting areas of pain and dysfunction. Shortly after I graduated, I became licensed by the state of Illinois and started working at Lifetime Fitness in Orland Park followed by Palos Health and Fitness and Eden Salon and Spa. Lastly I worked at Frankfort Chiropractic.  Through the years I really sharpened my skills and my ability to help my clients improve their mobility while decreasing their pain.

I specialize in resolving body, muscle and joint pain using many techniques I have learned through out the years. I have studied hot stone, prenatal, aromatherapy, Thai massage, and Cupping. I found these treatments benefit my clients singularly but even more so when used in combination with each other.  I have learned how to treat the body in ways that will lead to the best outcome for each person and their specific condition.

"Relaxation is the Key"

After receiving my first chair massage, I realized it was my next calling in life; I graduated from Advanced Anatomy Massage Academy in 2003.  The focus of my training was relaxation and the long term benefits of massage on the body.  Over the years, I have seen a variety of clients and practiced Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Eselan and Sports Massage.  I like to combine different styles for each client, making the treatment unique and tailored to how the body is feeling.  I excel in relaxing my client, while working out their problems, stress areas and common complaints.

I offer Swedish, Hot Stone, Prenatal, and Deep Tissue, Sports, and Chair massage.

I am a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.  I have over 8 years of licensed massage experience. I have helped many of my clients recover from limitations due to injury , pain and tension. I treat every person as a whole, taking into consideration their emotional, spiritual, as well as their physical body. I individualize each massage with a combination and variety of techniques. Thai stretching, deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial release, cupping, hot stone, Swedish, are customized to reenergize and bring the body back into balance. What I love the most about practicing massage is the way it makes me develop myself as a human being. Whether from sciatica injury, pain or from years of emotion trauma, working to help others heal, has brought out the depths of my own awareness, strength and capacity to do good.

I’m an enthusiastic young woman who loves her career. I’ve been massaging for a little over 3 years now, but I know I’ve found my calling. I’m a huge proponent of including massage in your self-care routine. You only get one body, let me help you take care of it! I went to Universal Spa Training Academy and have studied many modalities including: sports, prenatal, Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, cupping, hot stone, and reiki. I enjoy using the knowledge I’ve gained, plus the experiences I’ve learned both in the spa setting and in the chiropractic setting, to customize a treatment plan specifically for your body! And you know what they say, if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, I feel like I haven’t “worked” since I chose this path! I just do what I love everyday!

I have always had a passion for bodywork and an intuitive ability to find imbalances to assist clients on their healing journey. I graduated form Chicago school of massage therapy in 2007 and began my career with a specialty in deep tissue and sports massage. I spent a lot of time working with athletes recovering from injuries and keeping healthy to prevent future injuries. As my career progressed, I became fascinated with eastern techniques such as Shaitsu and Reiki which both work with energy flow in the body. I have also studied aromatherapy and the many benefits pure essential oils have for both physical and mental wellness. My goal is to combine all the knowledge I have gathered over the years and combine them in into a unique, customized treatment for each person I work with so that you receive a massage that leaves you feeling balanced, restored, and pain free. In addition to my specialties, some of the techniques I use in my services are Reiki , Reflexology, Shiatus, cupping hot stone, and aromatherapy.

I have always been fascinated with the human body. In my opinion, it's the most valuable thing you will every own. Wellness and holistic health became a passion of mine in the last 5 years when I started my wellness journey as a certified personal trainer. I spent most of the time working for a chiropractor in a rehab setting, where I worked with patients to help them move better and designed programs for them to strengthen and lengthen muscles. I was then inspired to go back to school at Moraine Valley Community College to become a Licensed Massage therapist. There, I perfected different modalities and techniques to help my clients. I use my background of human movement as well as my desire to help others to help each person individually according to what is going on in their body.

Massage therapy has always been a passion of mine. Helping clients relax, relieve any physical or emotional pain, and increase mobility is what I strive for. I went to school at the Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove. During my time in school I studied deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, cupping, hot stone massage, therapeutic massage, reiki, and reflexology. I graduated in March 2020 and have been loving my career ever since. When providing a treatment I customize it to each clients specific needs. I feel like I was made to be a massage therapist. Since I was a young girl I have always worked on my family members to relieve their back pain. I have a great intuition when it comes to working on the human body. Deep tissue is one of my favorite types of massage to perform and is extremely beneficial to receive. I love using the knowledge I’ve gained and putting it to use on my clients.

I graduated from the Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy in Chicago. I was fortunate in that my training was the last class under the legendary curriculum of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. Before attending school 2018, I was massaging for fun. It was something that came to me naturally and intuitively.

I currently specialize in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Release. I am constantly working to develop my skills and learn new modalities. My approach to massage is a combination of clinical assessment, focused technique, body awareness, and intuition. I believe the body must allow, and thus invite the work to happen, and this often only occurs when the mind allows the body to do so. It’s a two-way street!

Throughout my entire life, I have always had a passion to work in the health care field so that I could help others. In 2014, I enrolled at Kaplan College, studying Clinical Massage Therapy. Over the course of that year, I've studied many modalities, including swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, chair massage, sports massage, along with a few others. I graduated in 2015, ranking at the top of my class. I received my license in Illinois, and began my career at Massage Envy in Frankfort. I have also had a few of my own clients outside of my employer. Because of my love for health care, I am currently studying to be an EKG Technician.
